Police have launched an investigation after three men were injured in a stabbing in Seaside Road, Eastbourne, on Thursday evening (14 August).
Officers were called at around 8.20pm to reports of a fight in the town centre. Sussex Police confirmed that a man was found with potentially life-threatening injuries, while two other men sustained minor stab wounds.
All three men were taken to hospital for treatment.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said:
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances, and we have an increased police presence in the area. Anyone who saw the incident or has any information which could help our investigation is asked to report online or phone 101 quoting Operation Benton.”
