Three people have been arrested after police were called to reports of a fight in Eastbourne.
Sussex Police said officers responded to an incident in Etchingham Road at around 11.45am on Friday (March 20).
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
A second man, aged 25, was arrested on suspicion of attempted assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and affray.
Both men have since been released on bail while further enquiries are carried out.
A 30-year-old woman was also arrested at the scene for being drunk and disorderly, as well as two counts of assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty.
She has been charged and is due to appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on July 1.
