Firefighters from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service in Newhaven teamed up with a local wildlife rescue organisation to save an injured seagull on Tuesday (March 17).
Crews from Newhaven Fire Station worked alongside the dedicated team at Wildlife Ambulance after concerns were raised about a bird in distress.
Thanks to swift coordination and careful handling, the seagull was safely rescued and is now in expert care, where it is expected to recover.
