Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an aggravated burglary at a home in Lancing.
The incident happened at around 7.15am on Monday, 19 January, when a group of four men forced entry to a property using a hammer while the house was occupied.
A number of high-value items, including designer clothing and jewellery, were stolen during the burglary. The victims have been receiving ongoing support from officers.
Sussex Police said the suspects are described as three white males and one black male, believed to be around 18 years old. All were wearing face coverings, and one of the group was seen on CCTV in possession of a knife.
The men are reported to have fled the property on foot at around 7.40am, heading towards Lancing Ring, carrying a large quantity of stolen clothing in their arms.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the Lancing Ring area or Lancing Ring Car Park between 6am and 8am that morning, and who may have seen a group of young men acting suspiciously or someone hurrying while carrying bundles of clothing.
Officers are also asking the public to be alert to anyone attempting to sell newly acquired designer items, including a long black Canada Goose coat, a grey Canada Goose coat, a black Moncler jacket, and a red Boda Skins jacket.
Anyone with information, or who may have relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage, is asked to report it to Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 166 of 19/01.
