A 34-year-old man has been taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries following a collision involving an electric scooter in Brighton.
Emergency services were called to Davey Drive at around 3pm on Friday 20 December after reports of a collision involving an e-scooter rider.
The rider was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where he remains receiving medical care.
Sussex Police have launched an investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. Officers are carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area as part of the investigation.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward. This includes anyone who may have captured dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage from the area at the time.
