Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of a domestic assault in Hove.
Officers were called to Dyke Road, near the Tesco Express petrol station, at around 8.30pm on Monday, 30 December. A woman was taken to hospital as a precaution to be assessed for her injuries.
A 50-year-old man from Seaford was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
Sussex Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any relevant information to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting serial 1180 of 30/12.
