Sussex Police are urgently seeking information after an 89‑year‑old man was seriously injured in a hit‑and‑run collision in Brighton. The incident occurred on London Road, near the Carden Avenue mini roundabout, on 23 January between approximately 4.15pm and 4.45pm.
The vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene.
The elderly man suffered significant injuries and remains in hospital. Officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen the collision, the vehicle involved, or the victim in the area beforehand to come forward.
