Emergency services were called to a serious road traffic collision on the A259 in Newhaven, leading to the road being temporarily blocked.
Police responded to a crash involving three vehicles on Brighton Road, Newhaven, just before 6pm on 26 February.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) were also in attendance alongside ambulance crews.
Three people were injured in the collision. One of them, a woman, was taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of injuries has not been confirmed.
Sussex Police are now appealing for witnesses. Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage is urged to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 1083 of 26/2.
