Appeal launched following daylight robbery on George Street
Sussex Police have released CCTV images of two suspects they wish to identify in connection with a robbery at the Vodafone store in Hove.
The incident happened at approximately 11.40am on Saturday, 24 May, when four men entered the Vodafone branch on George Street, threatening staff before stealing thousands of pounds worth of devices.
Suspects Fled on Foot Toward Goldstone Villas
The suspects, described as black men wearing dark tracksuits and trainers, are believed to have left the store on foot, heading north up George Street and onto Goldstone Villas, where they may have entered a waiting vehicle.
According to witnesses, two of the men had their faces covered, and one was carrying a black duffle bag. Police are currently working to identify the individuals and track their movements.
Linked to Robbery in Bexhill
Detective Inspector Jennifer Pietersen, leading the investigation, said:
“We are investigating this robbery and appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant information such as mobile phone or CCTV footage of the incident to come forward.
We are linking this robbery with a very similar robbery which occurred at the Vodafone store in Devonshire Road, Bexhill on Monday 19 May.”
