Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Victoria Park in the early hours of Saturday, 28 February.
The incident occurred at around 2.45am when two men reportedly attacked a man in his 40s following a brief interaction in the park. The victim sustained significant injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
The suspects are described as white, aged between 20 and 30, wearing grey tracksuits with hoods up and faces covered.
Detective Sergeant Harry Mansbridge said: “Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in the area to establish exactly what happened, and to identify who is responsible. We are asking anyone with relevant footage or information to get in touch. Any information could be key.”
