Sussex Police are investigating a traffic incident on Radford Road, Forge Wood, Crawley that occurred around 7.30am today (4 December).
A trailer became detached from the vehicle towing it and struck two other vehicles. The driver of the towing vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward to help with the investigation.
Anyone with information can report online or call 101, quoting reference 245 of 04/12.
No injuries have been reported at this stage, and enquiries are ongoing.
