Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A259 in Southwick on Wednesday afternoon (21 January).
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2.30pm after a collision involving a black motorcycle and a Hyundai i20 near the junction with Colebrook Road.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old woman from Hove, sustained serious injuries and remains in a serious condition.
Sussex Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who was driving in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage, to come forward as a matter of urgency.
