Sussex Police has appealed to the public for help in identifying a man in connection with an indecent behaviour incident reported on a Brighton and Hove bus in November.
Officers say that on 15 November, between approximately 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm, a passenger was seen behaving in an indecent way while sitting at the back of the lower deck of the number 49 bus. The bus was travelling within the Brighton area at the time of the incident.
In their appeal, Sussex Police published images of a man they would like to speak to as part of their ongoing enquiries. The force is urging anyone who recognises him — or who has information that could assist — to come forward.
“If you recognise the man or have any information to report, please contact us online or by calling 101, quoting reference 739 of 15/11,” police said.
Incidents of this nature are taken seriously by officers, and public assistance often plays a key role in progressing investigations. Members of the community are also reminded that even small pieces of information, including CCTV or mobile phone footage, can be crucial.
Anyone with relevant information should contact Sussex Police via their online reporting system or call 101, quoting the reference above.
