Emergency services responded to a serious road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a lorry in Shermanbury on Wednesday afternoon (25 June).
The incident occurred shortly before 12.30pm on Brighton Road, prompting a swift response from police, ambulance crews, and fire services. The motorcyclist is understood to have sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further care. The condition of the lorry driver has not been confirmed.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency crews dealt with the aftermath and investigators began examining the scene.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward as they piece together the circumstances surrounding the crash.
