Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road collision involving two motorbikes in St Leonards.
Emergency services were called to Harley Shute Road at around 3.50pm on Tuesday, March 3, following reports of a crash involving the two riders.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, a 50-year-old man from Battle who was riding one of the motorbikes was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
A 49-year-old man from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Police have since confirmed he has been released and no further action will be taken against him.
Officers are continuing enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
