There are just three days to go until Hove Lawns comes alive with sirens, smiles, and seaside excitement as East Sussex’s frontline services invite you to a special community event you won’t want to miss.
On Saturday, 5 July 2025, from 11am to 2pm, East Sussex Fire and Rescue, the RNLI, St John Ambulance, and HM Coastguard will gather by the water to showcase the vital work they do to keep everyone safe. This unique event promises fun for all the family, with hands-on activities, fascinating demonstrations, and the chance to meet the incredible teams who protect our community on land and at sea.
Children (and adults!) can explore emergency vehicles, learn lifesaving skills, and get up close with the equipment used in real rescues. Whether you dream of being a firefighter, lifeboat crew member, or paramedic, this is your opportunity to see these heroes in action and discover how they work together during emergencies.
