    Two black Mercedes involved in early morning crash, police appeal for witnesses

    Sussex Police were called to a crash on Marine Parade, near Steine Street, just before 2am on Sunday, 14 September.

    Two black Mercedes cars collided after one reportedly lost control while travelling westbound. Ambulance crews attended, but injuries have not been confirmed. The road reopened around 6:15am after debris was cleared and vehicles recovered.

    A 26-year-old man from Harrow Weald has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without consent, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and being in charge of a vehicle while unfit through drink. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.

    Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has footage to contact them online or call 101, quoting reference 100 of 14/09.
