Sussex Police have issued an urgent appeal for information after an elderly man was robbed in the St James’s Street area of Brighton earlier this month. Officers are asking anyone who recognises the individual in released images, or who has relevant information, to come forward as part of an ongoing investigation into the incident
The robbery occurred on 2 February at around 8:30 am. A man in his 80s was approached by another man near the junction with George Street. The suspect reportedly grabbed the victim’s wallet and made off on foot along Charles Street. The wallet contained cash and bank cards.
Sussex Police have released photos of a man they would like to identify in connection with their enquiries. Officers believe that members of the public may recognise him and be able to provide information that could assist the investigation.
