Police are appealing for help to identify a man suspected of carrying out two robberies in Shoreham yesterday morning (Saturday, 10 May).

The first incident occurred just after 7am at the Co-op in Ham Road, where a man entered the store armed with a hammer and threatened staff before fleeing with a quantity of cash.

Shortly afterwards, a second incident was reported at Shoreham News in nearby Buckingham Road. In this case, a man matching the same description is said to have threatened staff and attempted to steal cigarettes. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in either case.
