    Police investigating a violent assault at a Brighton restaurant have made a further arrest.

    The incident happened in the early hours of 2 August at Zaf’ron in North Road, where officers were called to reports of a man seriously injured. Emergency services attended and a man in his 60s was taken to hospital with significant injuries. He has since been discharged.

    Three men aged 19, 27, and 30 were arrested at the time on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. The 19-year-old has since been released without charge, while the two other men remain on conditional bail as enquiries continue.

    Following a public appeal, police confirmed a fourth man, aged 22, was arrested on 15 August on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. He has also been released on conditional bail while investigations are ongoing.
