Firefighters were called to a restaurant in Newhaven in the early hours of Sunday morning after reports of a blaze.
Crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were dispatched to Rustico Neapolitan at around 4.30am on 15 February 2026 following reports of a fire at the premises.
Appliances from Newhaven, Roedean and Brighton attended the incident. Firefighters used two main jets to tackle the flames.
There were no reported casualties. Police and ambulance crews also attended the scene while emergency services dealt with the incident.
An update from the fire service confirmed crews have now left the scene. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
