Firefighters were called to tackle a vehicle fire in a residential area of Crawley on Sunday evening (9 March).
A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said crews were alerted to the incident at 7.56pm after reports of a small vehicle fire in Alisa Close.
Joint Fire Control mobilised one fire engine to the scene.
When firefighters arrived, they discovered a car well alight. Crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using a high-pressure hose reel, successfully bringing the fire under control.
The incident was dealt with by 9pm, when firefighters left the scene.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
