In a festival bursting with creative energy, Circus Enchanté rises above as a true highlight of Brighton Fringe 2025 — a masterclass in immersive, magical performance.

The show opened with a hint of uncertainty — some cast members appeared to be missing, prompting murmurs in the audience. But the mystery was quickly addressed:l as they was already here, just late or were they. Soon enough however, a mystery note appears from behind the curtain. A note that was read out to say one performer,, sadly couldn’t make it, oh but this was this part of the plan. Impressively, the ensemble didn’t just adapt — they excelled. What could have been a shaky start became a testament to the troupe’s professionalism, creativity, and cohesion. Plenty of traditional they’re re behind you moments.

From that point on, the performance was nothing short of mesmerizing. Aerial artists soared with elegance, contortionists defied logic with liquid grace, and a piano player that made Eric Morecambe and Mr Preview look good, but this becomes a hypnotic routine. The entire experience felt enchanted, as if we’d slipped into a parallel world where wonder is the rule, not the exception.

The narrative thread — a wide-eyed dreamer stumbling into an ethereal circus realm — gave the show emotional resonance without overshadowing the sheer spectacle. Every act was seamlessly woven into the story, creating a fluid journey through fantasy and skill.

Audience engagement was handled with warmth and charm. Rather than simply performing to us, the cast brought us along for the ride — drawing laughter, gasps, and applause with every beat.
