Emergency services were called to a residential building on North Road in Brighton on Saturday afternoon (20 December) following reports of an incident.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) attended the scene at around 1.30pm. Two fire appliances from ESFRS were seen in attendance as crews dealt with the situation.
North Road was temporarily closed while the incident was being handled, causing short delays in the area.
