Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Crawley that left a 22-year-old man with stab wounds.
Emergency services were called shortly after 4.30am on Thursday, 19 June, to Valley Drive, where the injured man was found. He told officers he had been attacked at Three Bridges railway station earlier that night, and that the suspect fled in the direction of Somerley Drive.
The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene and later taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers, including an armed response unit, carried out a search of the area, but no arrests have been made. A visible police presence remains in place as enquiries continue.
Police believe the incident occurred sometime between midnight and 4.30am and are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
They are especially keen to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from Valley Drive or Somerley Drive during that time frame.
