The incident occurred during the afternoon when a single vehicle rolled onto its side, blocking part of the carriageway. Sussex Police and ambulance crews attended the scene, with officers closing the street to traffic and restricting pedestrian access while the situation was dealt with.

No serious injuries have been reported. It is understood the occupant of the vehicle did not require hospital treatment.
