Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Brighton involving two vehicles and a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at around 5.52pm on Thursday, 22 May, on Freshfield Road, near Patching Lodge.
A 62-year-old woman from Brighton, who was driving a Vauxhall Corsa, is in critical condition in hospital. Her vehicle was involved in a collision with a Mercedes, before striking a pedestrian walking on the pavement.
The pedestrian, a 59-year-old local man, had been walking his dogs at the time of the incident. He and one of his dogs sustained injuries that were thankfully not serious. The driver of the Mercedes was uninjured.
Police are now urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
