Sussex Police are appealing for help identifying a man following a stabbing incident in Brighton.
The incident happened at around 2.15am on Friday, April 26, near the junction of London Road and Rose Hill Terrace. A 45-year-old man from Brighton was injured after an altercation with a group. He sustained multiple knife wounds and required medical treatment.
Three 17-year-old girls from Brighton were later arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. All three were charged and appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on April 28. Due to their age, their names have not been released. They have been bailed with conditions and are due to return to court on May 27.
Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to as part of the ongoing investigation. Officers are asking anyone who recognises him to come forward.
