Firefighters are currently dealing with a fire in a fourth-floor flat on Wellington Road, Brighton, this evening (3 November).
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service received the call at around 6.50pm and there is currently seven fire engines, an aerial ladder platform, and a command support unit at the scene, along with police and ambulance teams.
Residents in the affected flat have been evacuated, and checks are being carried out on neighbouring floors to ensure the fire had not spread.
