Hangleton Road in #Hove has resurfacing works starting at 8pm tonight for a week. The junctions of Stapley Road, Rowan Avenue, Elm Drive, West Way, Nevill Avenue will be closed.

📅 2nd – 3rd August 2025 - Brighton Pride
Preston Road will be closed between South Road and Stanford Avenue from 10am on Saturday morning until midnight and then from 11am on Sunday until 1am Monday morning
The parade takes place on Saturday so there’ll be a number of road closures in the city centre from 9.30am.
The parade starts at 11am from Hove Lawns and makes it’s way to Preston Park via Kings Road, West Street, North Street, Old Steine and up through London Road to Preston Park.
Kingsway between Grand Avenue and Kings Road will be closed eastbound. It’ll also be closed westbound between Kings Road and Waterloo Street.
Kings Road, Grand Junction Road westbound, West Street, North Street, Castle Square, Old Steine, Marlborough Place, Gloucester Place, St George’s Place, York Place, London Road, Preston Road - from New England Road to Stanford Avenue, Stanford Avenue - Preston Road to Beaconsfield Villas and Beaconsfield Road - slip lane & Bus Lane at Preston Circus will also be closed.
Marine Parade and St James Street also have closures between the Old Steine and Lower Rock Gardens. That area will reopen at 5am on Monday morning.
Broad Street, Camelford Street, Charles Street, Madeira Place, Manchester Street, Margaret Street, New Steine Street, Rock Place, Steine Street, Van Alan Mews, and Wentworth Street will be closed from 9pm on Friday until 5am on Monday.
That’s for the Pride Village Party
If you’re heading to Pride on the train, Preston Park and London Road stations are closed all weekend. There will be additional trains running to get you into Brighton and back again in the evening.
If you’re heading in by car, there’s no parking at Preston Park, and there’s restricted parking on Madeira Drive.
