• Hove | A27 Eastbound

  Lane 2 on the eastbound A27 remains closed between Waterhall/A23 turnoff and Coldean Lane.

• Brighton | Preston Road

  Preston Road has highway works by the northern end of Preston Park.

• Brighton | Grand Parade

  Grand Parade has lane closures and restrictions on the southbound side due to the Valley Gardens redevelopment.

• Brighton | Highcroft Villas

  Highcroft Villas is closed at the junction with Dyke Road and Dyke Road Avenue.

• Hove | Dyke Road Avenue

  Dyke Road Avenue has temporary lights at the Highcroft Villas/Upper Drive crossroad.

• Worthing | Lyndhurst Road

  Lyndhurst Road is closed between the High Street Roundabout and Park Road.

• Worthing | Chapel Road

  Chapel Road in Worthing is closed Southbound from Richmond Road. There’s also no right turn from Richmond Road.

• A27 westbound between B2145 and A286 | Westbound | Congestion

  Location : The A27 westbound between the junctions with the A259 Chichester East and the A286 . Reason : Congestion. Status : Currently Active. Return To Normal : Normal traffic conditions are expected between 12:30 and 12:45 on 15 June 2025. Delay : There are currently delays of 10 minutes against expected traffic.

• A27 eastbound between A284 near Arundel (west) and A284 near Arundel (east) | Eastbound | Congestion

  Location : The A27 eastbound between the junctions with the A284 Arundel West and the A284 Arundel East. Reason : Congestion. Status : Currently Active. Return To Normal : Normal traffic conditions are expected between 12:30 and 12:45 on 15 June 2025. Delay : There are currently delays of 10 minutes against expected traffic.

• M3 westbound within J3 | Westbound | Congestion

  Location : The M3 westbound at junction J3 . Reason : Congestion. Status : Currently Active. Return To Normal : Normal traffic conditions are expected between 12:30 and 12:45 on 15 June 2025. Delay : There are currently delays of 10 minutes against expected traffic.

• M3 eastbound between J4 and J3 | Eastbound | Accident

  Location : The M3 eastbound between junctions J4 and J3 . Lane Closures : Lane one is closed. Reason : Road traffic collision. Status : Currently Active. Time To Clear : The event is expected to clear between 13:30 and 13:45 on 15 June 2025. Return To Normal : Normal traffic conditions are expected between 14:15 and 14:30 on 15 June 2025. Delay : There are currently delays of 15 minutes against expected traffic. Lanes Closed : There is one of four lanes closed.

• M3 eastbound between J4 and J3 | Eastbound | Congestion

  Location : The M3 eastbound between junctions J4 and J3 . Reason : Congestion. Status : Currently Active. Return To Normal : Normal traffic conditions are expected between 12:30 and 12:45 on 15 June 2025. Cause : Road traffic collision. Delay : There are currently delays of 15 minutes against expected traffic.

The annual British Heart Foundation London to Brighton bike ride is on Sunday 15th June.

The Sussex leg starts at the Dukes Head roundabout and comes down through Turners Hill, Ardingly, Haywards Heath to Ditchling Beacon before making it’s way into the city and down to Madeira Drive.

• The B2028 from the Dukes Head Roundabout down to Summerhill Lane in Lindfield will be one way southbound between 6am and 8pm
• Oathall Road and Hazelgrove Road between Oathall Avenue to the Sussex Road Roundabout will be one way southbound between 6am and 8pm
• the B2112 from the Foxhill Roundabout in Haywards Heath down to Beacon Road in Ditchling will also be one way southbound, again between 6am and 8pm

and

• Beacon Road over Ditchling Beacon to Old Boat Corner will closed from 6am through to 8pm.

In Brighton, several roads  and junctions are closed from 7am until 9pm 

• Madeira Drive is closed from midnight on Friday 13th June and will reopen at 23:59 on Sunday evening
• Coldean Lane will closed from Old Boat Corner to the junction with Forest Road.
• The southbound carriageway from Forest Road to Park Road will also closed.
• Southover Street will closed at the junction with Lewes Road 
• Morley Street, Kingswood Street and Edward Street will also be closed at their junctions with Grand Parade 
• And The Old Steine between St Peters Church and the Palace Pier Roundabout will be for cyclists only in the left hand lane.

Train customers traveling with non-folding bikes cannot board trains at any station in the Brighton area from Shoreham-by-Sea in the west, Haywards Heath in the north and Lewes in the east.

Additionally, from the start of service until 10:00, non-folding bikes will not be allowed on trains for journeys to Clapham Junction.
