Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were reportedly seen engaging in indecent behaviour on Brighton’s official nudist beach.
The incident occurred on Thursday, 11 July, at Dukes Mound, a designated clothing-optional section of beach located off Marine Parade, east of Brighton Pier.
A member of the public reported seeing two men pleasuring themselves in public view, which prompted a police investigation. Sussex Police have confirmed they are aware of the incident and are urging any witnesses or those with information to come forward.
Speaking to Sussex News, the witness described the uncomfortable encounter:
The woman told Sussex News:
“I was on the nudist beach in Brighton when two men came and sat very close behind me. Something felt off, so I discreetly recorded a video on my phone. While watching it back, one of the men approached me and said, ‘Well, you’re the best view on the beach, aren’t you?’
It was only when I reviewed the footage properly that I realised he had been masturbating while staring at me.”
The woman has since been in contact with Sussex Police and is cooperating with the investigation.
