Sussex Police were called to Roedale Road, Brighton, on Saturday 8 November 2025 at 6:36pm following reports of a car colliding with three parked vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
A 37-year-old man, David Sims, of Worchester Park, Sutton, was arrested at the scene. He has been charged with driving whilst unfit through drink and driving a motor vehicle above the legal alcohol limit.
Sims has since been bailed and is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 27 November. Sussex Police continue to remind drivers of the dangers of drink-driving and the consequences of breaking the law.
