An Albanian drug dealer who supplied Class A drugs across Brighton has been jailed for more than three years following a National Crime Agency (NCA) investigation.

Ervis Doksani, 22, of no fixed abode, was arrested by armed NCA officers in Clarence Square on the evening of 2 October after surveillance teams observed a series of suspicious meetings believed to be linked to drug dealing.

During a search, officers recovered 12 deal bags of cocaine hidden inside a mint tin and a cigarette packet.

A further search of a flat Doksani had been staying in on Dyke Road uncovered another 108 grams of cocaine – with an estimated street value of £7,000 – some of which had been placed in a frying pan. Investigators also seized approximately £1,000 in cash.

Doksani appeared at Lewes Crown Court on 3 November, where he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He was sentenced on 27 November to 40 months in prison. He will face deportation upon completing his sentence.

NCA Branch Commander Sara-Jayne Moore said:
“Our investigation established that Ervis Doksani was a drug dealer making money from supplying cocaine. Working with law enforcement partners we are determined to do all we can to disrupt the organised criminals involved in peddling Class A drugs at every step and protect the public from this threat.”
